Default [Q] Cannot send mails via ActiveSync (Exchange 2010)

Hi, I have a strange problem. ActiveSync seams to work, I got synchronized everything including new mails but when I try to send, the mail disappears in the nowhere. If I send a mail with a big attachment the mail is in the Outbox and it seams that Android is sending the mail, after a while the mail disappears form the Outbox. It will never arrive and it is not stored in Sent Mails. What can I do, without error message it is hard to find out? I already tried to delete the Application data of the mail program, in consequence I had to setup again the ActiveSync account, but having still the same problem.

On saving this post, the forum proposed this (h t t p : // forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797720) as similar thread and it is right, its exactly the same issue for HD2 using DHD roms. Anyway they did not find a solution yet, maybe it is possible to find in this forum a solution. By the way I have also the same issue as described in this thread: …also cannot get attachments or "Get Remaining KB".

I found a workaround by myself now, however not perfect. This article helped me: http: // laurie.denness.net/blog/2010/09/exchange-2010-sp1-sync-with-android-froyo/ Scroll down were you can find “Download the 2.2 stock Email.apk from here.” Download this file to your PC and move it to the phone, rename from Email.apk.zip to Email.apk and start the file on the phone. Basically it will install another mail client. Check now the menu, you should have a new item “E-Mail”. Go to settings, sync, activeSync and remove your existing and not completely working account. It will delete all contacts, mails and appointments on the phone. Start the new E-Mail client, setup your Exchange account, sync everything and send a mail. This time the mail will arrive.
Anyhow I would prefer that the HTC mail client will be fixed quite soon!

Update: The issue is solved now, for more details see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797733.
