Default [Q] Size of /dev/bml7

I'm trying to compile a kernel, but the result is more than double the size of most of the ones I see coming from jt1134, Dirrk, and others. I took a default config and stripped a bunch of x86-specific modules, but the result is still big, and I want to know if it will still fit.

If it will fit, and I flash it, and it doesn't boot, I assume I can just flash the backed up bml7 partition (which I extracted with redbend) using Clockworkmod. (Correct me if I'm wrong about flashing bml7 and Clockwork being different partitions.)

Did you remove .git from the ramdisk? I'm assuming you pulled one from github? I'd have to look but I don't think /bml7 is larger than ~ 8 or 9mb.
