Default [Q] g2 erased itself

so i had been getting an odd amount of reboots today and had just sent an email using gmail and started getting a loop of gmail and google services fcs. so I rebooted and when it started back up it asked me to sign back into gmail and setup my phone. every one of my apps is gone and all my system settings, basically it factory restored itself. now I cant download anything from the market...I'm 2 days past the buyers remorse period and I have the extended warranty, do you think they would sympathize and and replace my phone if i called? I'm gonna try when i get off but this is just annoying

if they dont replace it does anyone have any insight as to why this happened and how to prevent it?

my G2 just rebooted on me and when it started up again, it asked for account details just like when i first opened it. EVERYTHING was wiped gone!! Only thing that remained was the pics on the SD card.

Anyone else have this happen?

there must have bene an error on your phone. there is a partition just incase you get a error. what happens is the phone will reboot and reinstall the factory settings. it happened the first day i had the phone. this is what i was told by the guy in the store
