Default Want the DHD hava a SGS should i change now?

So i currently have a Samsung Galaxy S (running FroYo Jp6 (the unnoficial release of FroYo that later Samsung pull off))
So I have it running using Voodoo (which enables the device in being very responsive Quadrant of ~ 1500ish)

So yes i like the SGS but am very interested in the DHD. But after reading some of the threads here it has become apparent that the DHD has some serious issues..
- battery life..
- laggy?? ( i would had though it was not laggy as it doesnt use a propriatory filesystem (ext4?))
- Camera ( is worst compare to the SGS 5Mpixels??)
- Video ( is worst?? )
- proximity sensor issue

So guys...i want your opinion, i have no experience in the DHD ( havent even seen it in person am in Australia..so is coming here next month)

So what i said above..about the disadvantages are only what i read..
Do you guys recommend me moving to DHD now or should i wait to see if HTC can fix the above issues???

- Camera ( is worst compare to the SGS 5Mpixels??) - some reviews ive seen say its better some worse. unless you are using it for actual prints its not a problem anyway.
- Video ( is worst?? ) - no idea but it looked fine when i filmed my three kittens running around
- proximity sensor issue - afaik fixed with a OTA update but i never had the problem in the first place
