Excellent. Until that I will use NoLED, but will surely switch to BLN when basic notifications can be shown with your app only. Any eta on that?

So, native BLN call & calendar notifications ready?!

Sorry, just being annoying in purpose. I just cannot wait for this.

The schedule feature is planned for v0.8.
The feature list in post 1 is not sorted by priority... install/repair is more important to me. But you can change priority for scheduler feature implementation, that lacks only 6 votes.

First of all, great job neldar

I think I found a bug, I'm currently with:

- froyo JPM ROM
- BacklightNotification settings app v0.6
- BacklightNotification v2.2
- OCLF 2.0

I go to the settings app and untick "Activate BLN" to disable it for a while (eg. at night), when I press back and then return to the app, that particular setting is selected again, so I can't actually disable it.

Is it a bug or am I doing anything wrong?

It is a bug in the app, i have chosen another (and supposed to be a faster) method to write to sysfs, but it seems to fail.

That will be fixed in v0.6.7, that may be released tomorrow or monday.

feature suggestion:
breathing buttons, if possible .
also calendar and missed call native support would be great.

What are breathing buttons?

Btw, new BLN settings app version released:
v0.6.6
*fixed: enable/disable of BLN function (sometimes?) broken

*added: update function

See the first post for apk.

The update function will check for an update of the app and the BLN mod.
You can deactivate it in the update settings category.
The function will only check for updates on app start and only every 48 hours.
The update check on boot is not yet implemented (and will stay disabled by default in future releases).
You can also manually trigger an update check, dont use that excessively!
