I went ahead and got the Nook Color. I also have an IPad, and a Galaxy Tab. I am pretty impressed with the Galaxy Tab with how well everything works and its performance (but not the price). The stock Nook seems quite leggy when surfing the web and viewing pdfs. I am hoping that root and dolphin hd will fix the leg. Does pinch and zoom work on Dolphin HD?

How are the benchmarks on the Nook? Also, is the processor running at 800Mhz? Is Android 2.2 a possibility?

Hey everyone, I've got a problem.

I've gotten as far as mounting the mmcblklp6 into the /mnt folder, however, it cannot find/create a /mnt folder. I'm getting a "mount: mounting /dev/mmcblklp6 on /mnt failed: No such file or directory" error.

Help, please?

Try it again. It worked for me the second time.

look in /dev, if you don't see any mmc* then you have the old fastboot uImage... i ran into this. the other way to tell is you had to run ifconfig to ssh into your NC, that's another telltale sign of the old/original uImage, go download the updated one.

After reading this thread, I just ordered my nook color. It will hopefully be a good companion to my HD2 w/froyo. Can't wait for a rooted and clean android build for this thing.

Does anyone know what GPU this thing is running? How good is it?
