Default Overclock Samsung Galaxy Tab

Hi,

does anyone know´s how to Overcklock the Galaxy Tab?

I don't think there is a way - yet. THEY need some more time poking around the insides of the Tab to get to that.

That said - why would you? I haven't found any lag on the Tab whatsoever? What's so slow you'd need to overclock it?

Short answer - poke around the kernel to set an oc.
But leave it to the devs as its easy to screw up.

And its probably just for the sake of it

Is there a solution yet? It seems every other hardware can be overcloked except the Galaxy Tab. Im using SetCPU and it maxes at stock 1000MHz.

Any hopes for real overclocking?

I've read somewhere that overclocking works differently for the galaxy tab, it slows down the cpu when no program is heavily using it. The good thing is you extend the battery.

It's actually extremely easy to overclock. I have a kernel working for CDMA running 1.2 Ghz, I will work on a GSM kernel soon.

Does your kernel run on Sprint or VZW? If VZW, I'd love to test/give feedback if you'd be willing to share it.
