No doubt, this is the sickest cappy kernel out there(minus the bln snafu ), add one of the recent snappy froyo roms to it and the phone just flies.

With this kernel, is there any reason that I would be able to hear sound, ie movies, music through the headset but not be able to hear someone talking on an incoming call through the headset? My wife can hear me talking on her end but says I sound funny. I tried three different headsets, including the one that comes with the captivate???

Hadn't heard of one either. Have a JPP modem.bin and when flashed it shows JPP.

There are a lot of other differences between the two beyond the strings identifying them.

I'm getting 17.218 mflops and 2237 score in Quadrant...I flashed over I897UCJI6-OCD-REV02-Low-designgears and OCLF V2+...I have SetCPU set on performance, max: 1200MHz & min:100...So far everything works fine...

I think that's a known issue with i9000 kernels.

Ugh, thats a bummer. That doesn't strike me as something that would be hard to fix but then again, I know nothing of programming. Oh well, I guess I eventually had to find a bug in one of these experimental Roms that actually affected me.

anyone else getting E:Can't mount /dev/block/stl11 (invalid argument)?

was using molecule aosp with ext2 -- flashed using ext4 advanced.

Guess I'll probably have to start from Jf6. flashed like 3 times today with no problem.
