Hopefully the UK release means we here in the US aren't far behind.

It's dumb they're doing it through Kies, hopefully US will get OTA


Someone posted on.. I think it was Android Central that ( "I heard from this guy..") a T-Mo rep at store had showed him an email regarding "a huge update" that was coming to the Vibrant on the 15th. It's one of those things again, but hopefully it's true.

Well I happened to be in a TMO store today (got my son the LG Optimus T) and not one of the reps there had any freaking clue and all three of them had Vibrants in their pockets. So if the TMO reps who actually use the phone and want updates themselves are saying they have no info, then this is the one time I actually believe them.

The reps do not know anything at all. I remember about 3 weeks ago, I asked one at the mall (offical kiosk, not a reseller) if he knew t-mobile was going to come out with a cheap data plan like AT&T and he said he had no idea. Well, t-mobile has come out with a tiered data plan and just reinforces the fact that t-mobile reps know absolutely NOTHING. Their guess is as good as yours and mine.
