Can't get it to work on my phone. Has anyone had luck using it?

Ok I guess the problem is that T-mobile didn't program a phone number into the sim card. When you go to Settings->About phone->Phone Identity under phone number it says "unknown" which is causing a problem for Tikl cause I guess it relies on that.

I've done some googling and other people have had that problem and have fixed it by taking out the sim card and putting it into an iPhone and then editing the info. Unfortunately android doesn't have this capability (which sucks!) so i'm stuck. Anyone know of an app or something that can manage the sim card info?

Could probably just go into Tmobile and have them do it for you for free.

I work for Tmo and I can tell you for sure this is a known issue with every Android device. If you call they can send an OTA that just programs the number in your SIM. I do it at least once a week for customers, just call thru to Tech Care and ask.

Thanks for the responses. I'll give T-mo a call, i'm sure they can fix it. I didn't want to have to drive to the store again.

DONATE TO ME
My first SIM didn't have the number either. I called T-Mobile up, told them the problem and they sent something OTA that programmed the SIM with my number.
