Default [Q] Issue with Android Keyboard Settings

I just got my G2 today, and I've noticed that even though I have all of the Android Keyboard Settings enabled (Quick FIxes, Show Suggestions, and Auto-complete) none of them seem to be active.

I have been searching to see if this is a known bug and if anyone has figured out a resolution to get these features to work.

I have tried disabling and re-enabling the features.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Just to be clear... the "android keyboard" is not the physical keyboard.

Correct. This is on the touch screen. I use the same features on my G1 all of the time.

Ok first make sure you are using the Android keyboard, on the text input box long hold on the screen click input method and make sure Android keyboard is selected not swype.

This should fix it swype keyboard is not the same as the Android keyboard I wish it was hope this helps.

Thank you. That was it. Such a shame. I liked to flip between swype and typing.

Good to see it worked, it does suck that you can't use both.
