Default Poor Reception

Is anyone experiencing poor reception with their Omnia 7? I could not send a text from mine today when my Dell Streak (on the same network) had no problem. I love the phone, but this is beginning to concern me.

No problem here
Using in T-mobile UK and no problem so far.
I would say it is better than with my old T8282, but now I am getting Orange coverage as well.
My previous phone sometimes was loosing signal at home now I havent spoted any problem with reception. Even international calls are nice and clear.

The network reception at my place is pretty bad - especially on my network. My HTC HD(Blackstone) had issues sending texts and quite often I only heard "noise" instead of the other person.

I had problems sending a text two times during the last week that I had my phone but calls worked with no problem at all - so it definitely is an improvement.

My old Nokia N95 8 GB had no problems whatsoever - please Nokia, won't you build me a nice WP7 Phone?

I'm on T-Mobile (UK) too, and have terrible signal in my workplace. My Omnia 7 seems to be exactly the same (i.e. shockingly bad) as my previous HTC Touch Pro2, HTC Touch Diamond, and the same as my collegue who sits next to me with his HTC Desire. At home I get full signal like I used to.

I have had one text fail to send, a few seconds later the signal had roamed onto Orange, and I had 4 bars. Text went instantly .

So in conclusion, no better/worse than any current or previous smartphone.
