[Q] What to use now that skyfire is gone?

Hello, now that we cant use Skyfire for Flash purposes, what are our options?

Last week when you try to connect you get an error saying "due to high demand the service is unavailable" or something like that. The problem is they released it for iPhone last week and had to pull it from the market because they took all the bandwidth of their servers.

Yeah I am seeing that now. I wonder if it's actually down for good, or just because of the iTard crap. I'm sure that the people at Skyfire would have said something if they where killing off the platform that started their company.

The Skyfire app for the Iphone costs about $3, whereas the one for Windows Mobile is free. My guess is the Iphone users get the priority on the servers. There is no incentive for them to turn it back on for WM users, unless they start charging for the app.

I haddent even thought of that! I was hoping the servers were just overloaded. I looked on their blogs and they mention it hoping to get up sometime soon. I hope they don't shut out WM. I would pay a couple of bucks if it ment I could get it to work.

But it's just too much work to keep supporting it on WM, even if they charge for it, the reason is that there just isn't a huge market on WM, most people have moved onto Android and iPhone.

is there anything else to use as a replacement? something else with flash?

Perhaps Bolt, but that has to work inside a Java JVM.

I was hoping that there was something else that would allow me to play the various games on facebook (silly I know)
I just tried uZard and it wont load the games.
