Samsung just got through announcing that they are not building a nexus device..but it was just another galaxy s device

please please pleeeaassee announce a version with ATT 3g bands (or have them built in like the Vibrant does). Bye bye captivate!

It went through the fcc, has the name NEXUS S (Nexus + Galaxy S) google on the back and 2.3 (Gingerbread) vanilla in the U.I. picture.

It's UNDENIABLE this is the NEXT Galaxy S/Nexus

Woot porting android 2.3 to our devices + first to get updates as nexus phone

This news / confirmation of rumors is the best news for all SGS phones since the SGS line was released! This all but guarantee's we will get Honeycomb when it comes out and it should be ported quickly!

Sorry I didn't mean to make our out like I'm doubting it...what I meant was that I don't like how samsung says rumors are 100% not true then confirms then a week and s half later

Why can't these other Galaxy S phones have a nice back cover like the Captivate? The Cappy is still the nicest looking of all Galaxy phones.

I totally agree with you. It looks pretty fugly compared to the cap. I was actually thinking that it could have been pretty sexy if they had taken the Omnia 7 style chasis and android-fied it and thrown in some more metal instead of cheap feeling plastic.
