Your ROM definately faster, smoother, etc. than stock 1.72 & 1.84, i'm only talking about 1.72 & 1.84 maybe realy are different builds and may differ in terms of perfomance. That's why, as was mentioned before, maybe it will be the right thing to look closer to 1.84 as a base for your next ROM, if not - you're the developer - you will decide it.

Every new message is without white background, avatar,nickname and so on ... Just plain text on black background. Strange is that those previous messages are fine (those messages are before i had DHD)

Sorry, can't do it now, testing another ROM. Will report when reflash to 1.84.

The Youtube bug was fixed by incorporating later driver code from the kernel of the EVO Shift 4G which uses the same code for certain stuff. The code is quite new with changes as recent as 21 January 2011.

I did an experimental merge with the above mentioned code, and forwarded the changes to Apache14 so it can be merged into his more recent kernel base version (2.6.32.21 vs 2.6.32.28).

The new code for the video drivers basically prevents the DMA controller stalling and getting stuck in a 5 second timeout loop, which basically only allows the screen to repaint every 5 seconds.

Edit: The HTC Linux kernel source code they published for the DHD is from some release before 1.32.405.6. I have contacted them regarding getting the updated source code as I am legally entitled to. Yet to get a response from them.
