Ok so looks like a guy over on modaco got a good nadroid of his stock 347 here is the link to the thread.

http://android.modaco.com/content/de...droid-backkup/

My question is this since my streak hangs on firstboot everytimg, i have to reboot but in rom_backup i have these .img files

boot, cache, data, recovery, system.

The .img files in his backup are boot, system, firstboot, and nadroid.md5.

So is it possible to combine my data and cache images with his to have a backup my the stock 2.2 with my apps and some of the stuff i did to mystreak? or no?

Either way this is awesome that he uploaded his backup now i can try streakmod 1.9

I dont believe you can mix and match because Nandroid does a MD5 hash check.

Not sure what you mean by mix and match.

Pictures have BB, Streakmod version, Showing Nandroid complete and Nandroid backup with today's date (2 May 11).

I dont think anyone questioned whether they believe you or not making backups ?. I made a single successful backup on 347 but was only able to do it once .

He asked if he could mix and match files between 2 different backups which is highly doubtful because of the hash check and what Nandroid is looking for at the time of restore.

The program double checks essentially that what you started with in that backup is what its going to restore to your system so you dont brick it .

What i mean and what he wants to do is to take say an .img from one Nandroid backup folder and place it in another essentially frankenstiening(word) a firmware together .

So I understand he (and you) do not have good Nandroid Img so you want mine to place in you Nandroid file and try to use it restore or give you a new/updated/replace baseline?

This error seems to only happen to people using the stock ROM. This isn't the first time this error has happened. See here.

What is different internally between Streakdroid and the stock ROM that prevents Streakmod from working properly?

Nope i was sucessful 1 time in making a 347 backup but he never had any luck at all..

I could not share the single backup i made because it had personal data already in it .

He found a 347 backup now so i think he is good but he was looking to mix and match some parts of his back up with the one he found elsewhere ..
