[MOD] Change your Battery Icon to show %age charge level[Updated 20.11.2010]

Modify your X10 mini & mini pro and change the default battery icon in the Notification bar (on the right) to display the exact battery charge level in percent.

(Root Needed)

Install Only the Battery Icon Mod

This tutorial will install a clean version of framework (2.1 original with the default X10 mini & mini pro theme) with the percentage battery mod (grey colored version) applied. Choose this if you want to keep your X10 mini pro looking the same as it is by default, but you want the an accurate (ie: useful) battery icon.

Installation Procedure:
Copy framework-res.apk to to your X10 mini pro card /sdcard
Open command prompt from the start menu. (CMD)
adb shell
su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock2 /system
busybox cp /sdcard/framework-res.apk /system/framework/framework-res.apk

and i can't understand the instructions on the command prompt, do i need to type -adb shell, then type again -su??? and so forth?

adbshell without -
su without -

And u can give me your framework-res.apk .... I'll make one for 1.6 too.

@ abhi the idea is to replace the original battery with the %age level the app will make an addtitional battery there.....
