How do you change the MT4G splash screen? (prior to boot screen)

I already changed the boot animation screen no problem, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to change the first screen you see on power up. (I am not sure what its called but it isn't the animated one) Its the white Tmobile My Touch screen on initial power up/reboot.

Splash screen - and i have been asking about it also. The EVO link does NOT work - so don't mess with it.

Yep, changed my boot animation as well, but want to change the splash screen too.

Anyone know exactly how? Found instructions for the EVO, but ain't messing w/it till someone smarter that me can confirm the correct process.

Here is my splash screen..... It is just a edit of the original...

I never saw the point, you only see it for 2.5 seconds lol.

Uncheck the fastboot and see if you get the point?
