insanity

I wanted a basic ROM that was really quick as I only need my phone to Make Calls, Email, Calendar now and then, take a photo or two and listen to music when I am on the plane.

Missing Applications

Use nitrality UI to install any missing applications that have been removed. - Stock in insanity - Android Market

Install

1. Copy Insanity ROM to internal SD Card
2. Reboot into Recovery Mode
3. Flash insanity via CWM
4. Reboot

If you are coming from a STOCK ROM, only have 2e recovery or have any issues please see the EZbase Odin ROM

Troubleshooting / Issues

Q: I have installed Gallery 3D from Samsung and cleaned my media thumbnails. The result is terrifying as Gallery3D is processing very very slow.
A: Clean media thumbnails again, then use QuickPic to generate them as it has a better algorithm. After QuickPic finishes use Gallery3D and enjoy the smoothness

Q: The vibration function does not work on the GingerBread Keyboard. What do I have to do?
A: A: Download a newer version from here and flash it via CWM

Q: I don't have sms delivery reports.
A: See Install STOCK Mms

Q: When Will we see an XXJVK version?
A: A: Samsung has released JVK, but the kernel is closed source at the moment. Until they make the source open, we cannot make any major modification to it.

1: seems like wifi bug.. sometimes it says cant scan networks
2: market seems to be slow
3: please remove the android pic from the statusbar and upload the modified frame...

Looks great, very slim and fast, I'll give it a shot soon and add a keyboard myself, not such a Swype fan myself.

Blazing fast. Best froyo rom out so far (not counting cm yet)
