Default [Q] Actual profiles possible on Android?

So lately there have been a few profile implementations of profiles from SprintID to Motorola Droid Pro and some apps..

but I was wondering..is there a profile app which is closer to profiles/users like on windows?

By that I mean this..looking at a bunch of apps they got access to everything from GPS, to call logs, contacts, to text messages and etc..which is fine..but I personally would like to separate business use and personal use COMPLETELY..aka let the apps have access to all the stuff on my Personal profile..but not have access to my Business Profile stuff...

Right now I am using an Epic for personal and TP2 for work..but would like to use 1 device..is there anything that can do this kind of profiling?

(and yes I know programs with root will have access to everything regardless..but beside the rooted programs)

Personal profile.. Business Profile?

Well, I don't know what those mean, but I came to Android from Windows Mobile, and that system had profiles like:

Meeting
Headset
Loud
Car
Time Based

Why does Android not have this, either built into the OS or as an app in the Market???

I hated WM6, but at least there were programs that could set the phone to one of these profiles based on time or even location! When the phone loged into a certain cell tower, it would change the profile. I never had to remember to set it to vibrate when headed to a meeting at a specific location.

Come on. Even Symbian had this 6 or 7 years ago!!!

@leebo: I don't think he's talking about profiles (even though I've started to miss those to - there's an app called Locale if I'm not wrong, that does similiar stuff),
I think (better hope, because I'm searching for a solution like that as well) he's talking about accounts, similar to the way you log into your windows or ubuntu: different account, different settings and all.

Hope to find an answer on that myself.
Cheers, M.

EDIT: can't post the link, since I'm new: found it on appbrain, search for Locale.
