[Q] Im trying to root my G2 hero running 2.1

Hi, I am totaly new to rooting phones and its pissing me off alot. Every on line thing I seem to read is from another planet. People seem to think that everyone with a PC is BIll gates with degrees in programming. Tbh people only say half the things your ment to do. I have tried to root with apps and now, I have a problem on root manager.

It wont flash the device I get an error with the lame arse application Clockwork Mod i't closes constantly. TBH i am fuming with HTC that a phone thats not that old is not getting another update. It's complete rip off not anywhere in a contract did they say to me they would just say sod anyone with a G2 Hero ****S!

Yes this is a harsh thread but its totaly unfair for people who dont spend there life hacking or programming. I run 2 record labels and have no time to read endless amounts of how to's. So if anyone has instructions that are not going to make me throw my phone at the first person who pisses me off then feel free to put them down for me. But please dont take the piss. LOL
