It looks like Google apps for Android is going to be updated soon to allow editing. If you find no solutions Google may just fix it for you.

Just got the G - today. I have been exploring the default UI and I must say... it blows. I can't wait to have some of the capabilities of the 2.2 experience I have on my Droid X.

Regarding an Office app. I tested google docs from the browser and it worked great. I plugged in a USB keyboard and started typing - as though I was on a netbook.

Now I just need a way to Prop it up so I can see the screen better.

I used the usb keyboard to type this message. Worked well.

Holy crap! I didn't even think about trying a usb keyboard. I went and grabbed my logitech wii keyboard, plugged in the wireless dongle and it works like a charm!

Thanks bro!

Doesn't seem that uploading a file from the gtablet works in Google docs at this time

I 'borrowed' the APK for QuickOffice from my Droid2 and it seems to work pretty good on the tablet. I don't use it on the Droid2 so I may leave it on the tablet.

Typing with the onscreen keyboard is kind of daunting, but I bet a usb or bluetooth keyboard would make it perfect.
