no SD-Card, other locales (german)

Internal SD card does not get mounted.

What does it take to add other locales (i.e. german?)

internal? you got a "storage" and "external sdcard".
i think internal = storage?

you can chose German in language, but i dont think Nvidia built their framework for any other than US and their development pack is only sold in USA.

but it not so easy.. at least i dont know how yet..

ok this is more complicated for me than i thought it will be. can anyone put a step by step as to which zip to place where and how to install it?
there are 2 update.zips, one folio recovery and one folio mod. which one should be used and how and when.
the help is very much appreciated by a noob. thnx

Right - I do have storage! sorry ... However dropbox eg. complains I do not have an sdcard inserted. Stock ROM had storage mounted as sdcard - which was practical I think.

Once an external SD is inserted it shows as /sdcard and all is fine.

I can't chose 'German'. Choices I have are 'English' or some Chinese (I think ;) signs.

I have got to the Malata desktop

Unfortunately I can't get Wifi to work with my WPA2 network. It keeps dropping and showing Error.
I also notice it isn't possible to shutdown...it just starts up again.

I guess you have set the screen resolution higher than the native 1024x600, as I find it hard to read the small aliased fonts? (too old I'm afraid)

I'm going to have to ask the awkward question... as I can't get wifi working, how do I get back to the stock Toshiba ROM?

sorry, i used original stock settings for a period, here it showed all languages.

Download "more locale 2", and see if it helps. but again, it only helps with apps that has support for it, but menus will probably not change.

'more locale 2' I have ;) works partly.

Another funny thing: can't turn off anymore. It just shows the 'malata' screen on comes back into the lock screen.
