Brainmaster: "I am retiring from Cooking ROMs"

It is sad, but it's true - I am retiring from cooking. Why? Two reasons: the lack of time and the lack of support from the community.

it's sad to hear those news. But I can understand you. Several times in my life I came to a similar "borderline" which made me re-think what I was doing.

Thank you for the time you gave to the forum and to the idea to make things better. Wish you all the best and hopefully I'll be still around if you come back with another project some time in future.

Yap, thanks for your efforts. Sad to see such a huge backbone of this neotouch family leave, but real life is the most important thing to care about.

You did an outstanding job, your ROMs your tweaks and your effort to make mods and apps work like manila and SRS WOW HD.

those reasons are understandable. some chefs eventually stop cooking roms for the same reasons.

I don't get it. You say you don't do it for the money yet not enough donations is the main reason you quit??? So you do it for the money?

Anyway. Although you adviced me to try your roms once I'm still on the standard Acer 3.003c standard ROM with SPB Mobile shell. So I can't comment on the work you've done (and hence donate). And yes... I do put my money where my mouth is (Ask Stefano_1986). For now I see no reason to try any non-acer ROM as it suits me as it is. I didn't expect much from this device anyway though I must say I'm a little bit impressed. I expected much worse (considering Acer's very bad reputation quality-wise). Since Sam**** won't repair my Omnia i900 (though the device is still under waranty period), I'll have no choice but to use this Acer F1 as my primary device and thus be gentle with it. Perhaps after my waranty is expired I'll try some more ROM's so I'm sorry to see you go. Especially since a lot of ppl in here have indeed good experiences with your ROMs.

Maybe in some future you might get yet another donate.
