[Q] Backing up Fido's Android 2.1 - a clean copy of the OS itself, excluding all personal.

Hello folks,

I would like to upgrade mobile from Android 2.1 (Eclair) and tryout Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS on my Acer Liquid E. I've come across reading that few people are having some issues after they performed their upgrades, and perhaps the update has been removed from Acer's download section, but I managed to download a copy before they did. I'd like to make sure I can revert back to 2.1 should I choose to do so.

-Please, could someone let me know how would I be able to do that safely, or if it's available for download?
