Default Changing to my region ROM...

I've already tested all ways to flash to my county rom 2.1 and I have no result so I need help with it. I downgraded to 1.6 NR like is written in main page of this threat and then root, changed all three numbers in build.props, turned off and then hold beck button to green light and update to 2.1 with SEUS, but when I looked into build.props of new 2.1 system there is the same build.props as before in NR ROM. I don't know what to do. I've tried changing just number afted CDF or after whole CDF and nothing happend. What I did bad. My telephone was from CZ/Vodafone.

Sorry for my bad English and maby for bad section. =)

OK, I would recommend you to get the build.prop from someone who has the country firmware that you all want.

If you just want to change to an UK generic ROM, just go the the topic
"GUIDE: Mini Pro (U20) change to any firmware (generic\debrand)" and download the build.prop on the 1st page.

Then use the root explorer, go to system and copy paste it (substitute) there.

Turn off phone, connect to SEUS (as if you were updating the software).

VERY IMPORTANT - delete the db folder in SEUS before you do it.

And it should download and install a generic UK ROM 2.1.

Good luck, and if you get other build.props from other countries you will get those instead installed on your phone.

Philalerts, what you are experiencing is probably due to the fact that you have already downloaded the US ROM on your PC, that is why SEUS will install it automatically.

What you need to do is root - root explorer - change build.prop to the pretended version CZ in your case - save!.

Than you shut down the phone, and go to the place were you have your SEUS installed and DELETE the entire db folder "C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db".

That is where your US ROM is. After that you run SEUS again, and update. You should have a new CZ ROM in your next boot.

Good luck / Hodne stesti (my Cz used to be better

I have already done it by your way last time and before I send this topic, so I asked. I updated it with SEUS with clean install on my notebook, so I don't have any US ROM already downloaded.

When I edit build.prop with root explorer, what I did, then I turn off phone and update. Have I to restart it and try to update after that?

Sent from my U20i using XDA App
