Default Cognition errors

I just got Cognition 2.3b6 on my Captivate and now I'm getting a never ending series of error message:

the application com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly. please thry again.

AND

the application Messaging (process com.android.mms) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try agin.

and it appears i can no longer connect to my network.

Any ideas?

It appears like you have a bad flash. You'll need to start over.

Use Odin one-click to flash to JF6
Do a master clear in Odin, or GSM Master Reset using code: *2767*3855#
Try flashing Cognition 2.3 Beta6 again.
Are you a developer? Or possibly related to phone development?
No?...then you don't need to make a thread letting the world know you are switching phones. We really don't care.

(Last edited by calisonic; 28th November 2010 at 07:35 PM.) Reason: now its working, odin must be launched before attaching captivate in dl mode

did you bother to actually read the first post in that thread?

try method 3
have ODIN open BEFORE you connect your phone!
