XPEROID Development news XDAndroid 25.11, Neopeek CM 29.11 ,Seandean v3c Kernel

This threads main propose is to inform as many SE X1 users to use the XPEROID as possible and provide news and updates for them to contribute and participate in the Android development section too.

The latest development names and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update this thread about twice a week, as the development is not that fast.

There are alot of custom ROMs made for our device till date for example the Energy ROM series which allows us to use the latest softwares designed by big software and hardware companies like hTC or Microsoft in Windows mobile.
But as far as Windows mobile is getting outdated and Microsoft started a new OS for its mobile phone devices called Windows Phone series the official software development for this OS has stopped and now there is less of new softwares for our OS.

Android
One of the worlds leading OSs which is quite famous and its as good as the best mobile OS iOS of Apple is the Google android.
It has alot of updated applications and new functions. FULL Access to the Google services like Google Map or Google translate etc,Macromedia Adobe Flash 10.1 support,3D wallpapers, Animated menus etc are few advantages of Android over windows mobile

Xperoid
our device is a PPC and it has the minimum hardware requirements to run other OSs like Android.
The porting project of Google Android for our device has started since the last 2 year with the project name of XPEROID and last year it joint the biggest Android porting project XDAndroid and around couple of months ago Neopeek has made couple of builds for it
And it was around a month ago when the biggest change has happen and Kovsky Kernel Developers had managed to finally release a software that can be use in day to day bases.
there is still couple of other Hardwares like camera, LED flash, LEDs and Track-pad which are not working by now but this hardwares are not necessary and it can be accepted while using a BETA software.
So Xperoid is like a ROM except you have to run from Windows mobile rather right in windows startup using this program or by manually running it from file explorer.It will never effect your windows mobile ROM too.

Different developments
there are currently 2 different Android ports for our device

XDAndroid Development
The standard port, XDAndroid style builds in which you dont have to format your SD card in ext2 and can you can boot the builds from a folder in memory card.

Neopeek Development
The ext2 formated memory card required builds mostly created by the Neopeek developers which are more stable, faster and better than the other developments but it requires a memory card formating, a installation and all the files being in the root of the memory card.

Cyanogen mode V6.1 Barebone edition 29.11
released just for test as a update to the previous CM build with better 3D, latest Seandean kernel included and lesser bugs and non working apps like Gmail and Browser. take look at here

Kernel development
Kernel is a software that make the device quit from windows mobile and enter Android.Hardware and software managments are depended on this software.
there are several kernels made for our device like XDAndroid, sp3dev and, seandean
there is no specific place to download the latest kernel but you can always follow the development in this thread

Seandean v3c 29.11
best kernel made for our device till now. Its been tested and mainly designed for the Neopeek latest build and i think you can try it with other EXT2 builds of neopeek and the XDAndroid builds.click here to download Seandean v3c 29.11 package.zip. If you had any problem you can always shift back to sp3dev.zip kernel by sp3dev which has been the best kernel for both the builds for a while
