I have som questions about rooting. Ive had my wildfire for a while now and it has kind of been a dissapointment cos of the low gaming abilities. Ive been thinking of rooting my phone but i dont really know what it does? And also Do i get 2.2 with wildpuzzle ROM? And is there any bad things with rooting/oc'ing? Please answer asap (sry for any bad english)

i was under the impression that as long as you flashed the right RUU they couldnt tell if it'd been rooted and therefore not void your warantee???

RUU is basically the stock firmware they (HTC or carriers like t mobile) put on the phones, its a exe program instead of a zip file.
