Sounds like a rip-off than the actual tab... As far as I know the tab only has tv out for Rca (s- video) and HDMI but the FM radio is new to me...

In brazil the government give some incentives (discount on taxes) to companies that sells electronics with tv receiver ... Here most part of gps came with tv ...
This is why samsung decided to add tv on their phones ... Only here I think ...
My one came from germany ....

Swiped from my GTab using XDA App

Check the iFixIt teardowm of the Galaxy Tab and you will see an empty space: in Brazil it is used for the additional DVB TV component

Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 (euro)
Ice Cream Sandwich - CyanogenMod 9 (nightly builds)

Im guessing the tech specs in Brazil differ from say Europe or America. Therefore including a DVB reciever would be costly and in some cases pointless given that IP tv via GSM / Wi Fi is just as popular.
HTC Touch HD2 (UK) Running L26's Custom ROM
Samsung Galaxy Note (UK) ICS Rooted
Samsung Galaxy S3 (UK) Rooted

Could be. Also of course in this country the retailers have to pass on information to the TV licensing authorities if you buy a device that can receive over the air TV. You then get constant mail through the letterbox asking you to prove that you have a TV license. I suspect most manufacturers, retailers and consumers can't be bothered with the hassle .

Right, someone needs to work out what components that thing consists of so we can shoehorn it into the generic Tab's. How sweet would DVB-T be on one of these things!? Very, that's how.

I wonder if the kernel's all have support for the hardware and we just need the app installed.

Spelling essentials:
1) There is NO SUCH WORD as "alot" - It's "a lot"
2) The shortened form of You are is You're - NOT Your
3) Loosing & Loose have completely different meanings to Losing & Lose.
