[Q] Can't find tethered android phone on Nook Color?

SO I have a droid x and the wireless tether app (and yes I'm rooted).... but i dont see my android tether option under networks on my NC. Am i missing something? Sorry if this has been discussed!

Unfortunately Nooks (and most android devices) can't join ad-hoc networks. Details here: code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/issues/detail?id=11

I tried many hacks used for other devices and had no success yet.
