Question [Q] NxS: 512 MB or 512 "Samsung Megabytes"?

I guess, that it should be 512 MB RAM, video memory excluded... any factual info?

it should be exactly the same as the Galaxy S phones so if you look that up you'll have your answer.
Nexus 4 - AOKP Android 4.2.2
Asus EEE Pad Transformer w/ Keyboard - ICS 4.04 | Asus Google Nexus 7 - JB 4.1

B&N Nook Color CM7 | Nexus One CM7 GB 2.3
RAZR V3 | RAZR V3i | RIZR Z3 | T-Mobile Dash | RAZR2 V8 | T-Mobile G1 | T-Mobile myTouch 3G

The Galaxy Tab is(was) advertised as being equipped with 512 MB RAM... just (un)like the SgS family.
I would appreciate factual answers - preferably with screenshots - instead of generic blah blah.

How much of visible RAM is there on the nexus S?

346MB is visible to userspace (MemTotal in /proc/meminfo).

The hardware has 512MB of ram which is shared between Linux, carve-outs for the a/v hardware, the baseband, and shared memory between the baseband and Linux.

Thanks!

Unfortunate news, plus only USA and UK will get SAMOLED screen... the rest gets SuperClear. Dang.
