Default Totally Off-Topic
My phone is working kind of weird. So i thought maybe i could flash JP2 over at Samfireware(Gingerbread) on my Captivate. Will this break my phone? Isnt it the same hardware besides the Call Chip thing?

Open up the .zip file from Samfirmware and you won't see anything to flash in Odin. Also that's not the Nexus S firmware, and we are pretty sure it's not 2.3.

Yea JP2 is a galaxy S i9000 2.2 firmware
also it was ported over to vibrant few weeks back
HTC Hermes
HTC Touch Diamond
HTC Nexus One
Samsung Vibrant
