Hi

the optimal operation is :
Flash your spica with JH1 (link). (Pass = samsung-firmwares.com)
Root your phone as described in my second post.
Execute a kitchen from samdroid forum.
Make sur that u have app2SD for restoring your apps after upgrading to Froyo.
Everything is supported
if you don't know how to flash your spica send me another post. (i hope u know how)

Open up Terminal Emulator, u should have it installed already and type:

su
pm setInstallLocation 2
reboot

The commands are case sensitive.

I am using Leshaks Mod cooked from the kitchen at Samdroid.net

Can I simply boot into recovery and apply this rom, or is there anything else I should do before applying from recovery?

Hi. Thanks a lot for this amazing mod. Works like a charm.
Seems like youtube doesn't play video on my spica with the mod. Is that the current status of youtube with this mod, or it's just my phone that's not playing it? Do I need to install something else for it to work?

Strange, it works on my spica with this rom.

Try uninstalling youtube then install the updated version.

Youtube works on mine too using this ROM - as said - try uninstall/reinstall and see what happens...

Yamen, I have a minor issue with this ROM, my ringer volume is louder than it was before, which is great - but my SMS alert volume is silly quiet - no matter what I do to the settings nothing makes it louder

Any ideas?
