Default How to disable the camera shutter sound in my android 2.1

Hey guys, I m using x8 android 2.1
I was wondering how to disable the camera shutter sound, coz its annoying...
I juz know a way, is to root it and delete a file. But the problem is android 2.1 doesn't have the root program yet... omg

I have tried many camera apps un the market, but none works, can anyone help me plzzz


*really hope developers can help to update the root program for android 2.1. >.

Try camera zoom fx, got shutter sound option

I am in silent mode already, the camera juz continues to have that sound... and I also have tried to be in vibrate mode, still, it doesn't work...

I just update new rom, previously I already disabled
but don't remember how

search more search and lucky

Copy all music files inn system/media to the sdcard, then connect your phone to PC via USB and play all of them, and if you have found the shutter sound, try to delete it, or edit it with a program like Audacity, so that it΄s at least very quiet.
You could nalso try to copy the soundwaves of an mp3 to the shutter sound

maybe this way will work for u, it work for me.....first ur phone must be rooted, then download file manager, then mount your system folder as writable then go to system/media/audio/camera...delete all shutter sound in all 4 folders...then silent mode....im still noob..but click thanks if i helped
