(REQ) volume bar color change

I'm going for a all blue/black look but the volume bar is green. I'm familiar with the framework.apk and twframework apk and how to swap out images etc but I did some digging around and found that it would have to be edited in an xml file. I'm not familiar or have the know how on how to edit xml files. Would it be possible to just edit that paticular xml file and flash it through clockwork and not have it mess everything up. I'm wanting to change it to galaxy blue or slighty darker if possible. Thanks!

Edit: Or if someone can tell me which xml file it is maybe ill take a stab at it. I wouldn't mind learning. What else is a nandroid backup for anyway;p
