Default Just gone for it...placed my trust in Google :)

Hope I've made the right decision

Now just need to get the best price for my Google bought Nexus One + Official Car Dock...

Anyone else pre-ordered? What made your mind up? I figured I should cash in on the Nexus One now before the next generation properly kicks in.

I'd be happy with somewhere around that figure I guess. Gone the option of a short term SIM-only contract and buying the phone outright. Seems to make better financial sense and suits my geekiness in wanting an upgrade at least every 12 months.

In the US, on Tmobile they offer 2 plan types 1 plan requires a contract and is more expensive monthly but you get your subsidized phone price. the other plan is no contract and is 20 dollars cheaper but you pay full price for your phone.

IF you do the math it costs more at the end of those 2 years than if you just bought the phone outright

^ unless you have a family plan in which case it's cheaper to get the 2 year contract (since you have to buy two+ phones at full price).

Would be great to hear your experiences when you receive it! I did completely opposite and just bought an iPhone 4 after using G2 for almost two years rooted and all. I just wanted something very fast and very usable in everyday situations, as opposite to more geeky android.
