Cant get winimage to work

I downloaded winimage and im following the root instructions and when I go to disk I can choose the sdcard but then there is nothing in the folder I extracted nooter to. The folder is empty. The instructions say to click on a drop down menu to show hidden files but I have no drop down. What gives?

When choosing file next to the file name field where it says Virtual Hard Disks (*.vhd) click there and instead choose All Files. Your .img should now show up and you should be good to go.
