Sorry, I forgot about that

Attached are the themes for WM6.5 only. Inside the archive are folders for each respective theme. Instructions for installing:

-Inside the folders are a ".tsk" file, and some images. Only extract these files inside the folder, and not the folder with the files, and copy them into your /Windows/ directory of the Treo.

-To select a theme, go to the Today screen, press right softkey "Menu -> Preferences -> Today Settings".

Hi Einsteinecker, I have tried to get OEM and SYS folders with PKGTool by Bepe, but nothing.
Can you upload OEM and SYS from WM6.5.x v3.2 Hermann Classic?
Thanks

Hi, sorry about the delay. Life and such...

Hermann Packages

I can only upload the Palm related files for now, unfortunately you will have to get the OS elsewhere. Ftorsol's kitchen might help you with that.

I trust everyone knows how to use these files, can't really write up a tutorial again.

Hi, it's in the topic title, for Windows Mobile 6.1, the latest version is 3.0. For Windows Mobile 6.5.0, the latest is version 3.2.

Windows Mobile 6.5.3 is no longer a viable platform for our Treo750's, due to low RAM and slow CPU, as well as Palm OEM programs being incompatible with the OS.

Talking WM6.5 on T830

Hi, it's me again. I have old phone - T830 and it has official WM5, unofficial WM6 and WM6.1, but still no WM6.5. I think, that hardest problem is resolution, because no one phone runs official WM6.5 in 240x240. And I found WM6.5 on Treo 750!!! It is with 240x240 resolution and runs WM6.5!!! I downloaded your Treo WM6.5 ROM image, tried to make it for my T830 device, but nothing. I don't know anything about ROMs, I am absolute beginner. Maybe you want to make WM6.5 for my phone? Very big thanks!!!

well that may be true, but wm6.5.0 isnt to far away from that really, dont you think so? after all in neither versions has been eliminated 100% of the bugs, i would say the best rom for the treo is the 6.1 one, althought i like the 6.5.3 more, therefore i keep that one, ram and cpu speed isnt such a deal if you overclock it to 400mhz or so.

Hmm, T830? I don't have a ROM image for that. It might be possible, but without a device to test, it's just a shot in the dark.

There are a number of reasons why I don't consider WM6.5.3 workable right now, aside from the hardware requirements. For one thing, the symbols/Caps icon that shows up beside the SIP icon, it does not work on WM6.5.3. But I have been in contact with a developer here in regards to my Epix, and he actually made a version for the Epix that shows the icon on the top bar and not the bottom. So it could be possible to try that for our Treo. Another problem would be that Start Menu icon, but I came across a way to disable it completely lol, it might work here. And then there's also the size of the entire OS, visually speaking, it just looks too big for 240x240. Now comparing it to my Epix, it really is too big, and unfortunately we don't have the option to go to a lower DPI like I did for the Epix. Aside from that, I don't think you can overclock the Treo750, I've tried, I even went so far as to flash a Hermes Radio, but the Treo does not persist the clock changes. There was only one instance when I did overclock it, but that was it. The most critical reason why I don't like to overclock? Data services do not work when overclocked

well, ive tried some themes that actually make wm6.5.3 smaller, and that way it actually fits really good in our treos, you should try it its livven simple gloss 96, o and btw about overclocking just use xcpuscalar 3.03 i tested it with kh chain of memories and the speed difference may not be notisable on game, since it runs perfect, at least for me, but during movie sceances you can see it clearly, what i do is that i overclock to 470-500 while playing something big, and overclock to 300 or less while not using it.
