[Q] Contact sync??

I've got my NC rooted with GMail and Market working ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=871210 )...

Next, it would be great to have contacts imported properly. Does anyone have any ideas how to get contact sync working with Google on the NC?

Lets just go ahead and add Calendar as a direct addition to Contacts. I believe the biggest hurdle was getting the market ported so gmail sync was locked in. Now that permissions seem to work, hopefully these two (contact/calendar) can quickly be sideloaded and installed without a hitch.

Can you either upload or show us where to download the 2.1 contacts/calendar apks?

I've gotten the Calendar working, but not contacts. Was just asking about that here:

(also links there to the old cyanogenmod zip where I grabbed the Calendar apks ... just pushed 'em over, and all worked fine -- this is after getting market/gmail working with the instructions on nookdevs)

Thanks for the link.. Lets hope replacing contacts isnt too difficult with the existing NC bloat in the stock build.
