I'm using samsung galaxy i5801 i.e samsung galaxy 3. can anyone tell me when is samsung launching android 2.2 i.e Froyo in india.

If twitter is to be believed, then Samsung is gonna roll out the froyo upgrade for Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 in Q1 2011..

2011? Thats very late. They should release this by 20th of this month to njoy holiday season

after upgrading the firmware to froyo from samfirware, can i still upgrade it to the official samsung if they launch it? thanks

The official Froyo releasedate for Galaxy 3, Galaxy GT-I5800 is scheduled for begin of april 2011. This is officialy confirmed by Samsung BENELUX.

i confirm i receive the same mail from samsung belgium for the same date, april ! i just telle them that at this time 2.3 will be out, and there are 6 month in late, but no answer this time ...
