I had a feeling a week or so a go that was going to happen. Thats why I gave up also. Hate it for everyone

No message, ordered the 2nd, and have a "Delivery Date" of 12/26

I think they knew they had a problem then. As in the one day it went from being shipped the 14/15th on the 1st to 26th on Dec 2nd.

In that post he talks as if they have been delivering units to customers already.. I would guess by the forums that no one has gotten a shipping notification much less received a unit yet. The way this is spun they are trying to make the public think that there was just such a huge demand that they could not keep up.

I wish they could get their story straight and just let everyone know what is going on. I am still waiting on a replacement as well from my November 8th purchase at the Microsoft store.

I think that per your estimated delivey time and shipping time the system will only send the delay message once the estimated delivery time cannot be reached.

This is why people with end of dec. delivery time are not delayed.... YET.

I had a delivery estimate for today and I got the e-mail yesterday saying that my order has been delayed until January 6th.

Wow, Dell is even throwing in Blue tooth headsets for those who havent heard and some people people are even getting thier DVP's shipped this week!

Is this what joy feels like...? Dell? its been so long...
