Default Google Maps 5.0 for HTC Wildfire/Buzz
Hi guys,

I have just upated my google maps to version 5, but I cant see no change.

Im just curious if Google Maps 5 features such as vector data, compass rotation and offline navigation will be available also for HTC wildfire/buzz

Sadly its not listed in supported phones

Compass rotation works for me.

I second this. I can't really see any technical reasons for Maps not working on the Wildfire, but then again I'm not a coder. It would be interesting to know though so if a coder would explain I'd be happy.

I can't seem to get any new features working in cyanogenmod nightly, do you need to reboot the phone or something?

me neither. MoDaCo rom with froyo. :'(

Installed the update yesterday and running on WildPuzzle froyo

Edit: updated to 5 but no new features..

The only change I have found is the 3D buildings. None of that fancy rotation and such on my 2.1 ROM.
