Cannot install the stock android 2.1 keyboard

Hi all

I have extracted the qvga keyboard apk from the android emulator but it wont install

It says update incompatible on adb and fails on file manager

I cannot remount my system partition at the moment even though my phone is rooted but I will try it tommorow and then try adb push and post the results

Meanwhile can anyone explain this error?
