Sorry no animated gifs. Android doesn't see animated gif's as animated. It will only take the first image in the sequence and use that as the image.

I know that we can subsitute our own .png for a single picture dialer graphic but couldn't we subsitute a animated gif for that graphic? I was looking for a project this weekend and thought that this would be a cool one to work on. That is...if it is even possible. Your thoughts please?
Jadeboy I will have to get bt to test that one out. I think I have used Bluetooth but can't say for certain. I will get these things fixed in 3.0, I will need to be more thorough next time while testing to make sure these things don't pop up later after release. I want a 100% working Rom for you guys. I am trying to incorporate as many ported mode as I can. I think the dialer mod for the inverted numbers may have been the FC we all knew about already. It involved 2 apk's and one was the phone.all so I am almost positive that may be what was causing that. I will check on the Bluetooth and if I find it not working then I will have that fixed as well.

Hey guys I know there is a problem with xda posting and sending pm's on the app, but please only send it once. They are going through even though it hangs at processing. My pm's just blew up big time. I got all of your messages. I will be using some testers and the ones that just pm'ed me will be the ones who get the chance. I'll pm you guys back when xda lag is gone.
That's some great life right there . I also noticed that if you open goggles once it takes a HUGE percentage. Apparently it doesn't effect life though.

I thought no android system was wierd.

Not a heavy user but there was texting, market app updates, online surfing and most importantly XDA App following this awesome thread right here. I learn so much by reading what's going on here.
Ok guys, got kind of a noobish question, but there and plenty of smart and friendly people in here so I feel safe asking without being attacked.
I've searched and have read several different responses to the same question, but, after flashing a new kernel, how long should I stick with that kernel to ensure that it is "broken in" to test the effectiveness of it before I switch and try a different one? And should I let the phone die completely for several recharge cycles while I'm evaluating each kernel or should I just go about business like I normally do?

It's always been referred to as a "couple" but I give it at least 3... And I always 100%-0%... If your getting FC or anything weird, that won't get better, but battery life takes some cycles...
This is my EVO, there are many like it, but this one is mine...
