Wow...alot has changed since 4.5. The rom went odexed and the fanbois went from silly to full on cult fanatic. No slam on the rom or the op because they are both solid. Starting to look like a CM thread in here.

I run 4.5 on my wifes phone and wanted to see what 4.6 had instore. That was over an hour ago and after reading the change log, this thread and now another freaking website (as if miks and myns threads weren't time consuming enough)...all I got was odexed verse deodexded. I don't want to risk asking a stupid question so I think I'll move on.

Do you college kids really think that everyone on this planet has the time to read the text between two different websites dedicated to this rom? Some of us are all grown up with wives, kids, jobs and lives for crying out loud. I am lucky if I have 15 minutes to pop in here and ask a dumb question that more then likely has been asked before and hope some helpful wiz kid might be on at the time and I get a quick answer. Now in the past I was more then willing to do a search on THESE boards but if the new craze is to Bible thump a whole nother website down a noobs throat then that's just over the top.
This isn't just directed at the quoted poster alone but most of you kool-aid drinkers in the last few pages. I am surprised that XDA isn't getting heart burn over you directing everyone to a whole seperate web sight. Its one thing to have a link to a helpful site in your sig and another to insult people for not wanting to go there. Is Ammikam cool with abandoning all support from this thread and forcing everyone to the new web sight?

Support is still available here. Mik has moved all download links to the new site so as to have all his ROMs, mods and such in one location. What would you like to know about v4.6?

Thanks for a nice reply Cetac. After my post I don't deserve it. I think I will leave my wife's phone on her pink themed 4.5 for now. I am not interested in joining and reading a different forum. If the links arent going to be available to XDA members anymore then aamikam should just close the thread on this site.

No, which is why the majority of the guys still come over here and support, including Mik himself. No one is forcing anyone to do anything, the last page was just in fun, maybe little over the top but all in fun. The post you quoted was definitely over the top.

The reason for the new forum was because of the amount of chat and different things people were developing for MikFroyo. The links are still easy to get to and the support is easier to find because it has its own category rather than searching a 15,000 post thread. In order to see the mods and tweaks available for v4.6 you have to register on the site. But to get the base Rom just follow the link in the OP to get the download links. Sorry its not working for you as easily, although you did say it was hard to find answers. The new site was made specifically for that. I am 31 I have 3 kids and a pregnant wife. I am a manager for Polo Ralph Lauren and have a lot going on all the time. I understand where you are coming from. But if you took the time to explore the new site you might find it easier to find the answers you are looking for. It's much much easier for me anyway with the little precious time I do have. I assure you that if you have enjoyed MikFroyo you will find things easier there. If you have questions I am sure you already know who to pm. Don't be afraid to ask questions. We get a lot of questions and none are too noobish to ask. There are a lot of really cool things that were available for MikFroyo that you just couldn't find until now. The site is meant to help those, like you, who are searching for answers and don't want to read through a bunch of bs. So please join us there. You will not be disappointed as long as you go in with acceptance.
