How can i backup my phone before doing 2.1 root?
I wouldn't like to install my applications again and miss my contacts and etc .....

backup it using backup and restore apps. also export your contacts to sdcard. in case backup and restore doesn't work.
about the apps, download it again.

That is a good question from paradise_human.
For the apps apk, I used adb with pull command.
But I still wonder how I can backup and retore my personnal parameters of apps and phone (brightness, wifi parameters, etc.).

So I'm interested in an answer too.
