and when it boot ups into recovery mode..with the exclamation mark warning sign...you gotta press the call button to see the menu....

and also the phone has a locked boot control that doesnt allow you to boot into recovery using the n button combination
the adb method of writing into cmd should work easily

(after you have adb up and running)
write into cmd -adb reboot recovery

Also i am talking about Micromax android... This phone has the recovery issue. Did you got into recovery mode on micromax andro??

hey have you rooted your phone,coz both andreboot and bootcontrol(sorry its boot control ,not reboot control-http://www.androidzoom.com/android_a...ntrol%20widget and its a widget not an app,while andreboot is..)

Still no luck brother... How long do you have to keep pressing the home + power button combo? BootControl Widget doesn't work too, I have used Universal Android Rooter 1.6.2 beta to root, i used root checker to check if it is rooted, is shows it is rooted, i even installed busybox which is not possible without rooting... But still my phone doesn't root into recover mode nor in the bootloader mode... It just sticks on the micromax logo. I have purchased the phone less then a month ago, is it possible that the kernel or OS modification might be preventing this? Please help ppl, i'm getting desperately frustrated...!!

WTF!?? I just removed all the applications, formatted the SD card and tried restoring factory settings, but then after restart it doesnt start up..!! it sticks on the micromax logo... That means i have a defective piece... Grrrr...

start the phone using the start button. then hold home to enter the recovery.
