Default Non-Uniform Copy/Paste

The lack of uniformity of the copy/paste function throughout the OS is so annoying. One way in Gmail, another in Messaging, another in the Browser, etc. Google needs to clean this up, its all over the place.

What's annoying is trying to edit a url that's currently in the address bar of the browser.
You tap it and it automatically selects the whole thing, you have to go to the end, tap the end, to get the cursor, then move it to where you want. ugh.
