Default Anyone tried the new update -21/12/2010?

It seems there's a new update outed on 21/12/2010 for the x10 family and the x8.

The 5 latest software updates
21/12/2010: Xperia™ X10
21/12/2010: Xperia™ X10 mini
21/12/2010: Xperia™ X10 mini pro
21/12/2010: Xperia™ X8
26/11/2010: Xperia™ X8


Has anyone managed to get it? Pls post what the changes are in this thread.

X10 users cannot root their phone after the update. it looks like SE patched it. the need to use pre-rooted firmware flashing method, but may different from us. they have zdzihu to work on update.zip

Nobody has seen it.
It's a sony's principle - X8 owners are treated as lowlifes.
Thats why mine is for sale now, enough Sony-Erics****.
Got myself ZTE Blade and its PERFECT !
No bootloader lock, great screen, no erics**** at all !
And price ? cheaper than x8.

PC companion says there's no update available, so i guess it'll take a few days to roll out.

It says to me that there's no new update. But I'm from Bulgaria, so probably i will get it in the end of december (i hope).

Anyone tried it? What are the updates?
